10 Tips for Getting YouTube Channel Started
1. What kind of videos would be the most fun to make? Choose your theme and YouTube brand.Â
2. Create a Google Account and then go to YouTube to create your channel.Â
3. Choose a fun and uncomplicated name& create some channel art like a banner and profile picture.Â
4. Fill in the 'About' section so people know what your channel is about, but keep it short, because next is...
5. Create a channel trailer - all you need to start is your phone and a laptop (there is a lot of free editing software).Â
6. When are you able to make videos? Commit to posting videos at least once a week.
7. Create playlist that will sort your videos into groups and make it easy for others to follow.Â
8. Share your videos online - Facebook and Twitter are great to start with. Â
9. Respond to people’s questions or comment, it can create awesome conversations. Not only can they learn from you, but you can learn from them about what you could be doing better.
10. Have fun! Don't be too serious about it. If you're not enjoying it - what's the point?
